Brian Lee Stansell

Wednesday, November 11, 2009 Brian L. Stansell, age 42 of Calhoun died at 8:15 PM, Tuesday, in Gordon Hospital. Brian was born, May 18, 1967 in Gordon County, a son of James M. Stansell and the former Linda Carroll. He was formerly employed by D-C Tufters and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a son, Dillon Stansell and grandparents, John Roy Stansell, Evelyn Irene Stansell, and Horace Carroll. Brian is survived by his parents, James M. Stansell of Calhoun and Linda C. Stanfield of Ranger; one son Caleb Jordan of Adairsville; grandmother, Pauline Carroll of Calhoun; two brothers, Travis Stansell and Brandon Headrick both of Calhoun. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, November 13 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverends Andrew Campbell and Jason Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers are Daniel Brown, Mike Jones, Terry Grant, Jimmy Grizzle, Matthew Cobb, and Clifford Bebe.
