Brian Richards

Brian Richards, age 41 of Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his residence. Brian was born on July 17, 1972 in St. Louis, MO to the late Lynn Albert Richards and Marlyn Adamson Richards. He has been a resident of Gordon County for one and a half years and was a self employed truck dispatcher. He is survived by his wife, Missy Meadows Richards of Calhoun; one brother, Brad Richards; step-mother, Nan Richards; cousins, Alys Richards, Katy Hill and B.J. Hill; mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Marie Meadows; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, B.J. and Cindy Meadows; nephews, Will and Patrick Meadows. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, January 5th at 2:00pm from the Calhoun First Baptist Church with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Donnie Nesbitt will have charge of music. Pallbearers will be Mike Venable, Chad Apple, B.J. Meadows, Mike Higginbotham, Scott McFarland and David Brisley. The family will receive friends after the funeral on Sunday at Calhoun First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Boys and Girls Club or the Humane Society.
