Brenda Elizabeth Williams

Monday, October 20, 2008 Mrs. Brenda Elizabeth Williams, age 60 of Calhoun. Died Sunday afternoon October 19th in Emory University Hospital. Brenda was born in Hamilton County, Ohio, September 14, 1948. Daughter of Bessie Mae Nichols Harrell and the late David Ashford. She had lived in Calhoun since 1984 and was a graduate of the Miami University of Miami, Ohio. She earned her Masters of Education from Berry College in Rome. Brenda love to teach and had retired in 2004 from Ashworth Middle School. Survivors include her husband; Jeff Williams, son; Brandon Williams, daughter; Lauren Williams all of Calhoun. Mother; Bess Harrell of Charlotte, NC.. One sister; Bonnie Harrell of Charlotte. Brother in law; Roger Williams and her grandson and joy of her life; Daven. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5 until 8pm. Brenda will then be taken back to Amelia, Ohio, where her funeral will be conducted Saturday October 25th at 11am from the chapel of Nurre Funeral Home. With burial to follow in the Green Mound Cemetery in New Richmond, Ohio. The family has requested that in addition to flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Association.
