Brenda Marie Fox Williams

Brenda Marie Fox Williams, age 74 of Calhoun, passed away August 27, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Rome, GA. Brenda was born on November 24, 1941 in Gordon County to the late William Thomas “Billy” Fox and Vergia Augusta Morrow Fox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law James Craig. She was a member of South Calhoun Baptist Church. Brenda retired from Harbinger Industries. She is survived by her husband, Fred Allen Williams Jr of Calhoun; son, Rodney Biddy Williams of Calhoun; brothers, Ronnie Fox and his wife Brenda of Calhoun; sisters Rita Deaton and her husband Charles, Ginger Craig and her husband the late James Craig; in addition she is survived by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday August 29, 2016 at 11 AM at South Calhoun Baptist Church, with Reverend Clifford Free, Reverend Gary Bowman and Brent Smith officiating. Brenda will lie in state from 10-11 AM at South Calhoun Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with Barry Towe officiating. Pallbearers serving, Jerry Bagwell, Kevin Benton, Wayne Brown, Gene Edwards, Darryll Edwards, Terry Hopper, Donald Knight and John Samson. Deacons will serve as Honorary Pallbearers which include, Bobby Dodd, David Craig, Wayne Brown, Randy Balliew, Mike Johnson, Todd Gibbs, Dean Adams and Steve Glass. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 28, 2016 from 5 PM until 8 PM at South Calhoun Baptist Church.
