Brenda Sue Angell, 76, of Ranger, passed away on December 30, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Born on April 12, 1948, to BK Surface and Victoria Surface, Brenda was raised alongside her four siblings: Milton Lee Bowles, Dorothy Lucille Bowles, Agatha Varnadore, and Molly Bowles Owens. She married Lewis Eugene Angell, Sr., and together they had four children: Lewis Angell Jr., James Angell, Hollie McKamey, and Allie Halfacre.

Brenda was passionate about cooking, baking, and crafting. Her homemade meals, delicious treats, and thoughtful crafts will be remembered by her family and friends. She was an active member of Fairview Church of God, where she found support and comfort among her community. She was a clerk at Dollar Tree, working as a cashier and product stocker.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, BK and Victoria Surface; by her husband, Lewis Eugene Angell, Sr.; and by her two siblings, Milton and Dorothy.

She is survived by her siblings, Agatha and Molly; her children, Lewis, James, Hollie, and Allie; and her eight grandchildren: Allie Jahala Halfacre, Jesse Halfacre, Satreana Noyes, Lewis Angell III, Brandan Angell, Lillian McKamey, Caleb McKamey, and Dalton Angell. She is also survived by several great grandchildren. Brenda found great joy in spending time with her family, who will always cherish her warm and loving presence.

A Celebration of Life to celebrate Brenda’s life will be announced at a later date.
