Brenda Jean Rice Morris

Brenda Jean Rice Morris, age 70 of Plainville, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family and church family.

Brenda was born on September 1, 1951, in Floyd County to the late James Harrison Rice and Katherine Elizabeth Edwards. She was a member of Plainville Church of God of Prophesy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Frankie Edward Morris; brother, Randall Rice; sister, Glenda McMichen.

She is survived by three brothers, Jimmy Edward Rice, James Lamar Rice, and Todd Anthony Rice; nephews, Mark Rice, Matthew Rice, and Levi Rice.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 13^th at 4 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Matthew Reynolds officiating, Tyler Reynolds will have charge of music. Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on July 13^th from 3 PM until the service hour at Thomas Funeral Home.
