Bonnie England Johnson

Bonnie England Johnson, age 84 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday evening, September 17, 2013 in Gordon Health Care. Bonnie was born on December 5, 1928 to the late John Mack England and Cora Hensley England. She was a member of the Calhoun First United Methodist Church and was formerly secretary for Georgia Life Insurance Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hoyt Johnson; three sisters, Ann Kintigh, Mary Gentry,and Betty June Tate; and two brothers, Ira England and Grady England. Survivors include three brothers, Mack England, James England and his wife Annelle, and Carl England all of Calhoun; a special niece, Rebecca England of Atlanta; one sister-in-law, Pauline England of Calhoun; and addition nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, September 20th at 11:00am from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Brian Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
