Bonnie Nell Garcia

Bonnie Nell Garcia, age 66 of Rome, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her residence.

Bonnie was born on December 5, 1954 in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late E.M. Waits and Nell Towe Waits. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was also preceded in death by: two sisters, Helen McKamey and Judy Elaine Waits; two brothers, Kenneth Waits and Stanley Waits; and one daughter, Bonnie Anne Waits. Prior to her retirement, Bonnie was employed by Shaw Industries.

Bonnie is survived by: two sons, David Miller and his wife Sandra and Bryan Miller and his wife Karen; two daughters, Stephaina Pullen and Connie Ruiz; two brothers, Ray Waits and William Waits; two sisters, Marie Edmondson and her husband Tommy and Sheila Waits; and seventeen grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, September 17th at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend John Huffman officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Dylan Miller, Dawson Miller, Chris Miller, Thomas Ruiz, Matt Otting, Bass Baker, and Tommy Edmondson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16th from 6 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
