Bonnie Kate England, age 86, of Calhoun. Passed away Tuesday evening September 20th at her residence.
Bonnie was born in Murray County April 14, 1925. Daughter of the late Dennis Gallman and Mamie Paris Hall Gallman. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. A avid gardener and member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and nursery. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Glenn Gallman and a sister, June Henry.
Survivors include her husband, Mack England of Calhoun. Two daughters, Joyce Carol England of Chattanooga and Judy Howe and her husband David of Pensacola, Florida. One sisters, Catherine Stanley and her husband David of Resaca. Five grandchildren, Amy Erwin, Ben Brown, Matthew Brown, Adam Howe, and Emily Howe. Six great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday September 24th at 11am from the Philadelphia Baptist Church. With Rev. Tim McCulley and Rev. Bob Daugherty officiating. Music will be arranged by Mike and Jackie McDaniel. Burial will follow in the Pine Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include, Grandsons and Deacon of Philadelphia Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.
