Sunday, July 29, 2007 Mrs. Bonnie Faye Patterson Dodd, age 70 of 104 Jeep St. Calhoun, died Saturday July 28th. from injuries received in an automobile accident. Mrs. Dodd was born in Gordon County on September 8, 1936 daughter of the Late John F. and Ardell Harris Patterson and had spent her entire life here. She was a Baptist and was employed by Shaw Industries as an Inspector. Survivors include one son; Mitchell Dodd and his wife Stacie of Calhoun, three brothers; Fred and Ray Patterson both of Calhoun and Howard Patterson of Dalton, three sisters; Catherine Moore of Panama City Florida, Jean Bennett of Calhoun and Maxine Roberts of Dalton. Two grandchildren; Malana Kerce and her husband Eric of Calhoun and LaChance Dodd of Calhoun, two great-grandchildren; Ashley and Jasmine Kerce and her precious dog companion “Pudgie” Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday July 31st. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Lamar Roberts, George Moore, Rocky Bennett, Ricky Bennett, David Patterson and Randall Fuquea and they are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Monday.
