Bobby H. Hall, age 57 of Calhoun died, Sunday, February 24, 2008 at his residence.
Bobby was born, March 27, 1950 in Gordon County, son of the late Buddy Denver Hall and Nellie Mae Tinch Hall. He was formerly employed by Reeves Transportation and later C.T.I. as a driver; he was a Vietnam Veteran, US Army, and a member of the White Graves Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Hall
He is survived by two brothers, Harlan Hall of Calhoun and Doyle Hall and his wife Darlene of Cleveland, Tennessee; two sisters, Ann H. Brown and her husband Raymond of Calhoun; Lynn H. Childers and her husband Herman of Calhoun; eight nieces and nephews, Michele Silvers of Calhoun, Candace Alexander of Suwannee, Ricky Hall, Tim Hall, and Jeff Hall all of Cleveland, Scott Hall of Memphis, Tennessee, Blake Childers and Ben Fuller both of Calhoun.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 27 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Reverend Tony Hall officiating, and burial will be in the Sardis Church of God Cemetery of Murray County on Georgia Highway 225. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 112 of Dalton. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Ricky Silvers, David Alexander, Roger and Lamar Tinch, Scott Hall, Ricky Hall, Jeff Hall, and Tim Hall. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Ellis, Wayne Phillips, Clyde Young, and Larry Colston. They are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12: 45 PM, Wednesday.
