Bobby L Draper

Bobby L. Draper, age 82 of Calhoun, died Friday November 13, 2015 at Gordon Hospital. Bobby was born in Bristol, TN on October 28, 1933 to the late James A. Draper and Edith Felty. He was a veteran having served as Corporal in the US Army. Before retirement he was the Operations Manager at Lummus Machine and Tool. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member at Sonoraville Baptist Church where he loved to teach and sang in the church choir. Bobby was also an in-home hospice caregiver. He is preceded in death by his older brother Charles Draper. Survivors include his wife Imogene Clements Draper; son, Robin Draper of Arizona; daughter, Renee Mills and husband Jeff of Jasper, TN; children’ mother, Katherine B. Draper; stepsons, Tim Underwood and his wife Melissa and Stephen Underwood and his wife Carla; twin sister, Betty Anderson and her husband Don of Bristol, TN; two grandchildren, Tanna Edison and Yada Draper; two step grandchildren, Ethan and Emma Underwood; three nephews, Alan and Wayne Anderson and Bill Draper; two nieces, Debbie Shelley and Vicki Harpe. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday November 16th, 2015 at 11:00 AM from Sonoraville Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Skates officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends at Thomas Funeral Home Sunday November 15th, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
