Bobby Lee Cook

Bobby Lee Cook, age 80 of Calhoun died Saturday, November 27 at his residence.

Bobby was born, September 5, 1941 in Gordon County, son of the late C.H. Cook and the former Miss Lillian Reed. Also, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittany Walters on November 5, 2021.He was a lifetime resident of Calhoun and Gordon County and was of the Christian faith. He had spent much of his working life in insurance sales and most recently worked in security. He was preceded in death by two brothers and their wives, Jack Cook and his wife Catherine, Jimmy Cook and his wife Jane.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 59 years, Glenda Faye McDougle Cook; one son, Scott Cook and his wife Tammy; one daughter, Sandra Carver; ten grandchildren, Haley, Emily, Gracie, Justin, Meagan, Brittany, Wesley, Jacob, and Dusty; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 Wednesday, December 1 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
