Bobby Burns

Bobby Burns, age 65, of Calhoun, passed away Friday evening December 2^nd.

Bobby was born January 25, 1957, in Calhoun, son of the late J.B. Burns and Evelyn Beavers Burns. He was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 75. Bobby was employed by Mohawk industries prior to his retirement. He loved his family and was an exceptional PawPaw.

Besides his parents Bobby was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Wiley Burns, his stepmother Nanny Lou Burns who raised him after the death of his mother who passed away when he was 6 months  old, and his sister, Peggy Ellen Pope.

Survivors include his son, David Thomas Burns and his wife Keshia; four grandchildren, Ben Burns, Baylie Burns, Cadee Burns and Layla Burns; one sister, Linda Chadwick and her husband Roy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday December 5^th at 2pm from the chapel

of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Parrott officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3pm until 6pm at the funeral home.
