Billy J.R. Fuller

Saturday, September 12, 2009 Mr. Billy “J.R.” Fuller, age 74, of Calhoun. Died Saturday morning September 12th in Calhoun Health Care. J.R. was born in Gordon County July 19, 1935. Son of the late Jesse and Willie Belle Dutton Fuller. He was a member of the Cross Roads Church of God and prior to his retirement was employed by Astro Dye. Four brothers, Hardy, Leon, Fred, and Lawrence Fuller as well as four sisters,Clyde Wyatt Evelyn Stansell, Frances Guggemos, and Jessie Lancaster, preceded J.R. in death. Survivors include his sister, Margaret Bowman of Calhoun and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday September 14th at 11am from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Pastor Keith Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Erwin Hill Cemetery. Tim Reid will arrange music. Pallbearers serving include; Ronnie Holbrook, Johnny Stansell, Greg Barnette, Larry Barnette, Larry Fuller, and James Stansell. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4 until 7.
