Billie Jean Holsomback Rape, age 54, of Dalton and formerly of Calhoun, passed away Thursday November 19, 2020 at the Emory University Hospital.
Billie Jean was born July 11, 1966 in Akron, Ohio, daughter of Ethelyn Sayre Tipton and the late Gilbert William Husk. She has been a member of the Blackwood Springs Baptist Church for the past 35 Years and was an administrator for Milliken and Company.
She is survived by: her husband, Larry Rape; her mother, Ethelyn Tipton; four sons, Nicklaus Holsomback, Adam Holsomback, Tanner Rape, and Cody Rape; one daughter, Jamie Atkins; six brothers, Thomas Spindle, James Spindle, Bobby Lee, Edward Spindle, Billy Husk and Ricky Husk; four sisters, Darlene Seaver, Patty Bailey, Barbie Husk, and Debbie Croft; two grandchildren, Cruz and Jett Shropshire; two grand-pups, Apollo and Daisy; and two cats, Thunder and Lightning also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday November 23rd at 11 AM from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Whitton officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving include: Paul Parker, Ronnie Reeves, Joel Ostuw, Dale Hogan, David Patterson, and Jimmy Owens.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 PM until 5 PM at the funeral home.
