Bill D. Bushong

Mr. Bill Bushong, age 61 of Calhoun passed away Thursday evening April 5th in Gordon Hospital. Bill was born January 12, 1951 in Morenci, MI., son of Lowell Reed Bushong and the late Betty Marie Caulkins Bushong. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Calhoun and at the time of his death was the plant manager of One Source in Dalton. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Joyce Bushong of Calhoun. His father, Lowell R. Bushong of Bryan, Ohio. One son, Ben Bushong and his wife Missy of Cumming. One daughter, Erin Bushong Chancey and her husband Matt of Fairbanks, Alaska. Two sisters, Sandy Rupp and her husband James of Pioneer, Ohio and Sharon Burrows and her husband Bill of Port Huron, MI.. Four grandchildren, Bryson, Brody, Morgan, and Ryan as well as a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 10 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeal Home with Dr. Bert Vaughn. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. In addition flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association. Thomas Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for the services of Bill D. Bushong.
