Beverly Paulette Woodward, a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, has passed away at the age of 73. Born on October 11th, 1950 in Gastonia, North Carolina, Beverly's life was marked by her dedication to both her faith and her family.
Beverly found deep fulfillment through her involvement in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a valued member of the Relief Society and used her creative talents to write contemporary music that inspired fellow churchgoers. She also embarked on musical road shows with adolescents, sharing her love for both music and spirituality.
Outside of her church duties, Beverly excelled in her career as a communication coordinator for several hospitals. Her exceptional organizational skills and compassionate nature allowed her to excel in this role. Through her work, she touched the lives of many patients and their families, bringing comfort and support during challenging times.
Remembered as joyful and creative, Beverly had a passion for crafting that brought joy into the lives of others. Whether it was writing poetry or creating personalized gifts for friends and family, she infused every project with love and care. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she often shared her latest creations with those around her, enriching their lives with beauty and warmth.
On October 15th, 2023, surrounded by loving family, Beverly peacefully passed away in Rome, Georgia. Her memory will forever be cherished by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She leaves behind an indelible impact on the hearts and lives of those closest to her.
Beverly is predeceased by her parents Joseph James Pollard and Polly Viola Cheek. She is also preceded in death by her son Joshua Anthony Woodward and grandson Ephrem Alexander Robertson. Although they are no longer physically present with us, their spirits will continue to live on through the memories shared.
Surviving Beverly is her brother, Joseph Jeffrey Pollard and his wife Valda; daughters Candice Shea Robertson and husband Jeff, and Ashley Woodward Grafton. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Tristian McHale Woodward, Ian Riley Robertson, and Micaela Grace Robertson, and Alice Woodward. Their love and the cherished moments they shared will forever be a testament to Beverly's profound impact as a mother and grandmother.
A Funeral Service will be held on October 19th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home located at 535 Red Bud Road N.E., Calhoun, GA, 30701. Bishop Jonathan Cranford will officiate. Following the Funeral Service, a Graveside Service will take place at the Chandler Cemetery in Calhoun, GA. The visitation will be held on October 19th, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home.
Beverly Paulette Woodward's departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who loved her. Remembered for her unwavering faith, creativity, and ability to bring joy to others' lives, she leaves behind a powerful legacy that will endure for generations to come. Her memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts and minds as we celebrate a life lived with purpose and love.
