Betty Ray Rapp

Betty Ray Rapp, age 83 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Cartersville Medical Center. Betty was born on December 23, 1936 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Eldon Ray Deffendall and Lemma Wambach Deffendall. In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ralph Rapp, SR. Betty is survived by: three sons, Pat Rapp, Ray Rapp and his wife Karen, and Mike Rapp and his wife Judy; three daughters, Vickie Hobbs and her husband Larry, Teresa Rapp, and Kim Heidemann; brother, John Deffendall and his wife Juanita; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 25th at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Peace officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include: Brandon Rapp, Brian Rapp, Matt Rapp, Jay Heidemann, Anthony Morrow, and Jason Hobbs. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 24th from 5 PM until 7 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
