Betty Lou Pass

Wednesday, February 14, 2007 Mrs. Betty Lou Pass age 65 of 4310 Old Dalton Rd. Rome, died Tuesday February 13th. at her residence following an illness of five years. Betty was born in Floyd County on October 10, 1941 daughter of the Late Ruben and Annie Mae Mathis Buffington and had been a lifelong resident of Floyd County. She was a homemaker, a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, a graduate of Armuchee High School class of 1959, Graduate of Carol Lynn School of Business and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by a son Robert Larry Pass Jr. Survivors include her husband Larry Pass, two daughters; Sherry Pass, and Patricia Pass Toole and her husband Hank all of Rome, three sisters; Louise B. Miller and her Husband K.M. Miller Jr. of Calhoun, Peggy B. Rowland and her husband Al of Rome, and Melody B. Terry and her husband Mark of Rockmart. Three grandchildren; Weston, Lauren, and Emma of Rome and several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Friday February 16th. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Don Spears officiating. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P.M. on Friday. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
