Betty Annette Graham Shaw

Mrs. Betty Annette Shaw, age 79 of Calhoun, stepped out into eternity with her lord and savior on August 17, 2013 in Morning Pointe Assisted Living. Betty was born March 29, 1934 in Calhoun, GA. daughter to Cliff Graham and Ruby Duvall Graham. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Newtown Baptist Church. She worked and retired from the retail grocery business. Besides her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her daughter Robin Shaw Herrera. Survivors include her husband Harold Shaw; daughter, Rhonda Phillips and her husband Jay; brother, Ronald Graham and his wife Sue; two grandchildren, Dakota Herrera and Kodi Phillips and her fiancé Craig Henson. She is also survived by her special friend Betty Brock. Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday August 20, 2013 with the Rev. Walter Hare and John Bearden officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening August 19, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Pallbearers include: Bobby Duvall, Tim Duvall, Tom Mullinax, Keith Richardson, Jerry Shugart, and Dustin Shugart. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
