Betty Gazaway Bagley

Betty Gazaway Bagley, age 96 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Calhoun Health Care. Betty was born on February 15, 1918 in Gordon County. She was the daughter of the late John Miller Gazaway and Ora Mae Fowler Gazaway. She was a member of the Oostanaula Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Claude Bagley. She is survived by her son, Thomas Bagley of Calhoun; daughter, Gail Bagley of Calhoun; and two sisters, Dorothy Reese and her husband Max of Calhoun, and Anna Ruth Cox of Dalton. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 17th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 4 – 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Association at P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
