Bertha Mae Stanley Dupree

Bertha Mae Stanley Dupree, age 85, of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday May 8th in Gordon Hospital. Bertha was born May 15, 1926 in Henegar, Alabama, daughter of the late Tom Stanley and Senie Dean Stanley. She was a charter member of the Tabernacle of Praise. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Ruby Gravitt and Gladys Hyde, one brother, Ralph Stanley, her son, Jack Dupree, a son in law, Louie Bingiel, one great grandson, Isaiah Nance and two great great grandchildren, Josh Tinsley,Jr. and Nikia Tinsley. Survivors include, her husband Preston Dupree of Calhoun; two daughters, Brenda Bingiel and Sandra Hale and her husband Alvin, one son, Joel Dupree and his wife Cindy all of Calhoun, one daughter in law, Jennifer Dupree of Calhoun, one sister, Inez Boswell of Acworth, four brothers, J.T. Stanley of Summerville, Whitey Stanley of Dalton, John Stanley and Clayton Stanley both of Resaca, ten grandchildren, Tammy Burchett and her husband David, Allison Holbrook and her husband Derek, Keisha Causby and her husband Shane, Kerry Nance and her husband Mike, Keenya Rogers, Tina Culberson and her husband Scott, Michael Bingiel and his wife Missy, Heather Dupree, Tamra Dupree, Kayla Kent, Brandy Pass and her husband Cody, fourteen great-grandchildren, Josh Tinsley and his wife Chasity, Audria Burchett, Chase Holbrook, Dawson Holbrook, Hanna Causby, Austin Causby, Zeke Nance, Isaac Nance, Kiera Hale, Dakota Culberson, Tekoa Culberson, Andrew Bingiel and his wife Brittany, Chris Bingiel and Noah Bingiel. One great-great grandchild, Preston Jack Tinsley also survives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday May 10th at 1pm from the Tabernacle of Praise, with Pastor Roy Smith, Rev. Junior Clayton, and Rev. Alvin Hale officiating. Music will be arranged by Tina Culberson, Missy Bingiel and the Tabernacle of Praise Youth. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with great grandsons serving as pallbearers and they include, Josh Tinsley, Andrew Bingiel, Dakota Culberson, Austin, Causby, Chris Bingiel, Noah Bingiel, Chase Holbrook, Dawson Holbrook, Zeke Nance, and Isaac Nance. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 9pm at the Tabernacle of Praise @ 301 Chatsworth Hwy. 225, Calhoun, Georgia, 30701 and on Thursday from 10am until the funeral hour.
