Bernice W. Parker

Bernice W. Parker, age 68 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Redmond Regional Medical Center. Bernice was born on November 27, 1943 in Gordon County. Daughter of the late Clarence Davis and Lucinda Galloway Davis. Bernice enjoyed flowers and gardening. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by; One brother, Howard Davis. And two sisters; Margaret King and Bobby Jo Harris. Survivors include; One son, Kenny Parker and his wife Lisa of Resaca. And one sister, Thelma Fuller of Calhoun. Nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, March 28th from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving include; Dale Cryer, Lamar Cryer, Steve Miller, Charles Hicks, Jr., Ted Thompson and David Land. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, March 27th at the funeral home.
