Beatrice Reynolds

October 20, 2010 Mrs. Beatrice Reynolds age 92 of Oceanside California and formerly of Fairmount, died Friday Oct. 15th in Oceanside. Beatrice was born in Bartow County on Sept. 10, 1918 daughter of the late William and Ella Hight Buttrum. She had spent most of her life in Fairmount before moving to Oceanside 10 years ago. She attended the South Calhoun Baptist Church and was retired from the Textile industry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Claude Reynolds in 1995 and a Great-grandson; Brian Garner. Survivors include her daughter Barbara Leinart and her husband Raymond of Oceanside, California, a step-son: Donald Reynolds and his wife Nina of Charleston, S.C, a brother J.C. Buttrum and wife Nola, and a sister; Sue Bell and her husband Gerald all of Fairmount, Ga. three grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several step-grandchildren, one niece; Connie Thacker and her husband Larry of Fairmount and a nephew; Curt Buttrum of Cartersville also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday October 23rd from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Langston Officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler cemetery.
