Barbara Ann Wyatt

Tuesday, September 01, 2009 Barbara Ann Wyatt, age 63 of 110 Richardson Rd., Calhoun, died Tuesday September 1st. at her residence. Barbara was born in Gordon County on Feb 17, 1946 daughter of the late Bill and Pearlie Mae Cope Evans and had spent her entire life here. She was a homemaker and a member of the East Calhoun Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Claude Wyatt, a daughter Melissa Ann Mills in March 2009 and a sister Margaret Payne. Survivors include two daughters; Angel Wyatt Burke and her husband Floyd of Plainville and Tonya Fredrick of Calhoun, three brothers; Randy, Robert and Tommy Payne all of Calhoun, two sisters; Kathy Cole of Calhoun and Helen Hackney of Adairsville. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Graveside and interment services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 3rd. from the Scott Cemetery in Plainville with Rev. Marvin Jackson and Kandall Payne officiating. The family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening.
