Barbara Faye Temples

Barbara Faye Temples, age 79 of Calhoun, passed away on December 30, 2017 at her residence. Barbara was born on July 31, 1938 in Gordon County to the late Albert Temples and Lillian Wehunt Temples. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by Ruby Dorsey, and Shirley Wehunt. Barbara is survived by her two sisters, Frances Young of the Dews Pond Community, and Charlene Collins of Adairsville; and a brother-in-law, Charles Wehunt of Fairmount. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 2 PM from Salacoa Baptist Church with Reverend Wilburn Riding and Reverend Marcus Dorsey officiating. Interment will follow in Salacoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Gary Wells, Dustin Patterson, Randy Mulkey, Bruce Lanning, Scott Scoffard, Scotty Childers, Travis Childers, Buster Garland, Gary Henson, James Massingale, James Hanes, and David Mitchell. They are asked to meet at the church at 1:45 PM Tuesday. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 1st from 3 PM until 6 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
