Aubry Lamar Williams

Aubry Lamar Williams, age 42, of Calhoun, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening February 1^st at AdventHealth Gordon.

Aubry was born July 23, 1979, in Gordon County, son of late Sylvia Clark Williams and Roger Glenn Williams. He was a member of Sonoraville Baptist Church. As a former youth minister and coach, he was loved by all of his students and team members, who he considered his children.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Christina Williams; his mother; Melesa Williams, his grandmother, Doris Burns; two daughters, Carrie Bryan and her husband Ben and Madeline Williams; one son, Wesley Williams; one brother, Scott Williams, and his wife Holly; two sisters, Abranda Williams, and Ashley Williams. Nieces and nephews Elijah Sartin-DeBrock, Jonathan Oliver, Joseph Oliver, Briley Williams, Bryston Williams, Erica DeBrock, Bradley Williams, Quinn Waters, and Cooper Williams also survive.  

He will be missed by his close friends, Kevin Sanford, David Causby, Richard Clemens, Alan Lackey, Michael Bingiel, Randy Muse and D.J. Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday February 5^th at 12 noon at Sonoraville Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Hunt officiating burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Josh Armas, Quinton Brown, Andrew Bingiel, Noah Bingiel, Chris Bingiel, Noah Lincoln, Tevin Oliver, and Dequan Carter.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 7pm at Thomas Funeral Home. Aubry will be taken to the church Saturday morning to lie is state from 10am until 12 noon.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to the Sonoraville Baptist Church Youth Ministries @ 262 Old Fairmount Highway SE, Calhoun, Georgia,30701.
