Asuncion De La Cruz

Asuncion De La Cruz, age 58 of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at his residence. Asuncion was born on August 21, 1959 in Mexico to Armando De Le Cruz and Maria Antonia Sorio De La Cruz. Asuncion has been a resident of the United States for the past 17 years, and was of the Catholic faith. He was formerly employed by Church Chair Industries of Rome, GA. Asuncion is survived by his wife, Lucila De La Cruz; three sons, Willy De La Cruz, Melbin De La Cruz, and Braibin De La Cruz; five siblings, Mateos Frias Osorio, Jose Luis De La Cruz, Pedro De La Cruz, Maria Santos De La Cruz, and Maria Antonia De La Cruz; and three grandchildren also survive. A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Thursday, January 18th at 3 PM at St. Clement's Catholic Church with Father Guyma officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
