Mrs. Antoinette Marie Cilluffo Defalco, age 84 of Gordon County, passed away on Thursday, March 06, 2025, at Harbor View Assisted Living Facility, in Rome, Georgia.
Antoinette was born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 7, 1940, to the late Joseph Cilluffo and Ann Giacalone Cilluffo. In addition to her parents, Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel “Sam” Gene Defalco; and her brother-in-law, Raymond Colella. In her early years, she worked as a bookkeeper, but her true happiness came from being a homemaker. Her family was her heart and soul, and she enjoyed crocheting as a hobby.
Antoinette is survived by her children, Marlene Pyle (Tony), Gino Defalco, Gina Defalco (Kate), and Joe Defalco (Crystal); sister, Pauline Colella; grand-children, Sara Pruitt (Josh), Sam Nicholas, Gabrielle Holley (Jake), Elizabeth Defalco (David Greene), Alexandra Defalco, Jack Defalco, Gavin Avinger, Vanessa Avinger; and great-grand-children, Carter Pruitt, Clayton Pruitt, Olivia Holley, and Sophia Holley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10 AM from St. Clement’s Catholic Church with Father Vanderley Oliveria officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include Tony Pyle, Josh Pruitt, Jake Holley, David Greene, Gavin Avinger, and Jack Defalco.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 3 PM until 6 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
