Anthony Jerome Moore

Anthony Jerome Moore, age 49, of Calhoun passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 suddenly at his residence. Anthony was born on September 24, 1967 in Dalton Georgia to Joe Neal Moore and Retha Clark Prater. He was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1986 and was a huge Yankees baseball and music fan, he also sang with several area gospel groups. He is survived by his father, Joe Moore and his wife Gail of Cornelia, Georgia; mother, Retha Clark Prater and her husband Fred; two sons, Zac Moore and his fiancé Amanda of Lyons, Georgia and Cayman Moore and his special friend Audrey Stargell of Calhoun; two daughters, Carrie Worthington of Calhoun and Amber Worthington of Adairsville; one brother , Tommy Bright and his wife Tina of Calhoun, one sister, Christy Brooks and her husband Ryan of Clarksville;; three grandchildren, Harper Moore, Ryder Roberts and River Moore. Funeral services will be conducted Monday January 2nd at 11 am from the Heritage Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery with Cousins serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon January 1st from 3 until 7pm at the funeral home.
