Mrs. Annie Pearl “Ann” Roberts, age 94, of Calhoun. Died Thursday morning March 19th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Roberts was born May 7, 1914 in Worth County, Georgia. Daughter of the late Sidney Smith and Nina Pearl Jones Campbell. She has lived in Gordon County since 1972 was a homemaker and member of the Sonoraville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Murray Roberts as well as one sister, Janie O”Kelly and brother, Jack Campbell. Survivors include her son, Sid Roberts and his wife Pat of Cherry Log. Daughter, Glenda R. “Honey” Robinson and her husband Joe of Dayton, TN. Seven grandchildren; Cindie Robinson, Pam Heaton and her husband John, Kellie Robinson, Karyn Hamby and her husband Mike, David Roberts, Donna Roberts, and Dixie Tow and her husband Shane. Six great-grandchildren; Jody Marcotte, Bobby Marcotte, Raleigh Burton, Emma Heaton, Ian Tow and Erik Heaton. Eight nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be conducted Friday March 20th at 10AM from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Jether Cochran and Rev. Aaron Jones officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 2PM from the family lot in West View Cemetery in Atlanta. Pallbearers serving include; David Gibson, Robert Parris, Louie McEntyre, Tom Owens, Dan Bramblett, and Mike Garigan. Honorary pallbearers include Jim Franklin, Dot Hayes, Brenda Shultz, Calvin Caldwell, and Mike Jones. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 until 7pm.
