Annelle Fair, age 88 of Resaca, passed from this life to eternal life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Gordon Health Care.
Annelle was born on November 5, 1929 in Gordon County to the late Virgil Leonard Mills and Daisy Ovelle Fuller Mills. In addition to her parents, Annelle was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Fair; and two brothers, Alvin Mills and Alton Mills. She was one of the most faithful members of her beloved church, Russell Hill Baptist Church, and was a lifelong resident of Gordon County.
Annelle is survived by her two daughters, Kayanne Coggins and her husband Tony, and Candy Wheat and her husband Randy; brother, Austin Mills and his wife June; three grandchildren, Mindy Evans and her husband Alex, Colter Wheat and his wife Kimberly, and Colby Wheat and his fiancé Kayla Dean; and three great-grandchildren, Walker Wheat, Wyatt Wheat, and Westin Wheat. She is also survived by her special friends, Elsie Langley and Ann Shugart; and two very special angels, Vivian Mills and Kimberly Wheat.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Cherry Hill Wing of Gordon Health Care, who went beyond the call of duty.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, March 8th at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Hall and Reverend Tony Coggins officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Thomas in charge of graveside rites.
Pallbearers serving are Jamie Mills, Terry Mills, Alfred Knight, Colby Wheat, Colter Wheat, Eddie Fair, and Alex Evans. Honorary Pallbearers are her three great-grandsons, Walker Wheat, Wyatt Wheat, and Westin Wheat.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 PM until 9 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
