Mrs. Annell “Nell” Faulkenberry Hall, age 84, of the Sugar Valley community. Died Friday evening September 4th in Quinton Memorial Health Care.
Nell was born in Gordon County April 17, 1925. Daughter of the late Buster and Maggie Stevens Faulkenberry. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nell was a member of the Sugar Valley Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband, Gene T. Hall. Her son Jackie Hall, daughter, Peggy Cronan, grandsons; Danny Hall and Brian Patrick O’Shea, Brothers and sisters; Lloyd Dugan Faulkenberry, J.B. “Jake” Faulkenberry, Geneva Thomas, Frances Shelton, and Ruth Enlow also precede her.
Survivors include five daughters; Carolyn Dutton and her husband Jerry of Calhoun, Mary Ann Hall and her husband Harvey of Calhoun, Linda Havron and her husband Ron of Gulf Shores, Al., Edith Anderson and her husband Tim of Van, Texas, and Sue Reeves and her husband Tommy of Calhoun. One sister; Jean Morris and her husband Harold of Columbus. Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday September 8th at 3pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Dwaine Shadix and Rev. Howard Duvall officiating. Music will be arranged by Stacey Bradford. Burial will follow in the Sugar Valley Baptist Cemetery. Great grandsons will sever as pallbearers and include;Wesley Brown, Jonathan Jennings, Casey Smith, Daniel Hall, Chass Gilbert,Brayden O'Shea, Caleb Gibson, Derick Hunter, Dylan Thomas, Mathew Smith, Jake Thomas, Chancelor Brown, and Luke White. Honorary pallbearers include; Joe Ellis, Charlie Allen, Melvin Hall, David Hall, Christopher Reeves, Jerry Boggs, Kenny Joe Dixon, Kevin O’Shea, Greg Hall and Eddie Fair.
