Annell Clark Densmore, age 86 of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Golden Living Center.
Annell was born on January 7, 1930 in Gordon County to the late L.M. Clark and Annie Harrelson Clark. She was a member of Echota Baptist Church, and retired from the textile industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, M.C. Densmore.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Kelly of Sandy Springs; three sons, Don Howerton and his wife Judy of Rome; Lynn Howerton and his wife Sandra of Adairsville; and David Howerton and his wife Judy of Sugar Valley; ten grandchildren, Peter Howerton and his wife Shawn of Milton; Scott Howerton and his wife Lindy of Kennesaw; Jay Carroll of Sandy Springs; Todd Carroll and his wife Lisa of South Carolina; Jeremy Howerton and his wife Lindsey of Taylorsville; Brandon Howerton and his wife Tiffany of Adarsville; Aimee Nicholas and her husband Dylan of New Hampshire; Justin Howerton of Sugar Valley; Tessa Fowler and Tabb Fowler and his wife Kristina of Sugar Valley; and fifteen great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, July 31st at 2:30 PM at Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Mitch Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1 PM until the funeral hour at 2:30 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
