Angela Blackmon Lane

Angela Blackmon Lane, age 45 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Angela was born on July 3, 1977 in Rome, GA, daughter of Benny L. Blackmon, Sr. and Janice Scoggins Blackmon. Angela was preceded in death by: her husband, Toby Lane; grandparents, Effie Mae Cox, Fannie and Bob Blackmon, Wiley Roy Scoggins; uncle, Ronald Scoggins; aunt, Linda Ross; and niece, Heather Elena Blackmon. Angela was a retired CNA for Calhoun Health Care and loved caring for the elderly.

Angela is survived by: her parents, Benny and Janice Blackmon; one son, Devin Ryan Hardin; and four siblings, Christie Parris and her husband Donnie, Benny Lee Blackmon, Jr., Charles LaRon Blackmon and his wife Kaisha, and Jenny Blackmon.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 11 AM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.

Pallbearers serving include: Lamar Crowe, Chris Crowe, Blake Blackmon, Tyler Blackmon, Kimberly Blackmon, and David Ivey.
