Allen Hugh Taylor

Tuesday, September 23, 2008 Mr. Allen Hugh Taylor, age 65, of Petoskey. MI and formerly of Gordon County. Died Thursday September 18th in the Detroit Medical Center. Allen was born in Gordon County March 13, 1943. Son of the late Samuel Ernest and Nannie Alexander Taylor. He had been employed by Moeller Aerospace and was of the Baptist faith. Besides his parents his sister, Julia Graves, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Jeannette L. Taylor of Petoskey. Two daughters, Christina Rostar and Cynthia Taylor both of Petoskey. One brother, Wade Taylor of Olive Branch, Miss.. Three sisters, Evelyn Lowe of Jasper, Katherine Stewart of Kennesaw and Frances Hampton and her husband Bill of Flint, MI.. Four grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday September 25th at 2pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Jason Walraven officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Nephews will sever as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 7pm.
