Allen Odell Moss

Allen Odell Moss, age 64 of White, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Vero Health & Rehabilitation of Wadley, GA. Allen was born on September 26, 1951 in Atlanta, to the late Brady Odell Moss and Mary Bozeman Moss. He was a Sunday school teacher, superintendent, clerk, pianist and life-time member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Rydal. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World. Allen worked for Shaw Industries for over 25 years, and was also a substitute teacher for Adairsville High School. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Grayson and Nikita Moss; daughter and son-in-law, Paige and Paul Farr of Indiana; uncle and aunt, Troy and Sybil Moss of Rydal; three grandchildren, Kailyn Moss, Lucas Moss and Chris Farr; and caregiver and mother of his children, Nancy Moss of White. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, March 19th at 4 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Cowart officiating.
