Allen Boling

Allen Boling, age 77 of Fairmount, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at AdventHealth Gordon. Allen was born on April 19, 1943 in Pickens County, GA to the late Hugh Boling and Louise Boggs Boling. Allen was a lifetime resident of Gordon County and member of Concord Baptist Church near Fairmount, GA. Allen is survived by: his wife, Sheila Evans Boling; two sons, Damon Boling and his wife Pam, and Chandler Boling and his wife Anna; daughter, Leslie Stringer and her husband Scott; brother, Thomas Boling and his wife Pat; sister, Mary Wilkins and her husband Hugh; three grandchildren, Jessica Boling, EvanLeigh Stringer, and Ethan Boling; and one great-grandchild, Ivy Johnston. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2 PM from Concord Baptist Church with Chandler Boling and Scott Stringer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving are: Brent Wilkins, Chad Headrick, Adam Evans, Bryan Reeves, Ethan Boling, Hugh Wilkins, Damon Boling, and Barry Evans. Allen will lie in state at Concord Baptist Church on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 11 AM until the funeral hour at 2 PM.
