Alex Rosier

Monday, August 29, 2011 Alex Rosier, Jr., age 72 of the Resaca community died at 1:27 AM, Saturday, August 27 at his residence. Alex was born in Wagner, South Carolina, July 9, 1939, son of the late Alex Rosier, Sr. and M.V. Courtney Rosier. He had lived in Gordon County for 27 years and was the owner of A&J Tire Service of Resaca. He was a Mason and Shriner. Alex is survived by two sons, Patrick Rosier of France and Courtney Rosier of Texas; two daughters, Pam Hallmark of Cherokee, Alabama and Catherine Rosier of Resaca; two sons in law, Andy Smith of Tuscumbia, Alabama and Carl Gilbreath of Resaca; one brother, Jourdan Rosier of Augusta; two sisters, Mary Cook Spires and Cathy Corder both of Augusta; 9 grandchildren; and 3 grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 31 at the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. The family will receive friends until 9:00 PM after the service.
