Ada Marie Miller

Ada Marie Miller, age 95 of Douglasville and formerly of Gordon County. Died Saturday morning January 21st in Douglasville. Ada was born July 7, 1916 in Englewood, Tennessee. Daughter of the late Lewis and Done Ledford Miller. She had spent most of her life in Gordon County. Due to failing health, she was moved to the Douglasville Nursing Home to be closer to her brother and sister-in-law, John and Dot Miller, who have taken care of her day to day needs. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Harris and Estelle Mullins and two brothers, Virgle Miller and Clarence Miller. Survivors include three brothers, John B. Miller and his wife Dot of Douglasville, Claude Junior Miller and his wife Irene and Herbert Luther Miller and his wife Lois all of Fairmount. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Monday January 23rd at 1pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the East Damascus Church Cemetery.
